Aluminum alloy die-casting surface pretreatment

August 8,2024.
Aluminum alloy die-casting surface pretreatment
1) Aluminum phosphating; 2) Aluminum surface physical polishing; 3) Alkaline electrolytic polishing of aluminum (this is very common); 4) Environmentally friendly chemical polishing of aluminum and aluminum alloys; 5) Electrochemical surface strengthening treatment of aluminum and its alloys; 6) Electroplating treatment after aluminum alloy polishing. Note: In order to simplify the process, I will not explain it in detail. In fact, for us to make structures, as long as we put forward the desired product effect, the manufacturer can choose the polishing method according to the effect, without the need to know the specific number in detail. In order to reduce costs, physical polishing is basically adopted. If you want to know more, you can search online by yourself.
Anodizing: The surface corrosion resistance of extruded aluminum alloy profiles is not strong, and it must be treated by anodizing to increase the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and appearance of the aluminum.
Electrophoretic painting: The surface of the electrophoretic painted profile has a soft gloss and can resist the erosion of cement and mortar acid rain.
Powder electrostatic spraying: The characteristics of the powder electrostatic spraying profile are excellent corrosion resistance, and the acid, alkali and salt spray resistance are much better than the oxidized coloring profile.
Titanium plating and titanium gold plating process: The titanium gold plating process for aluminum profiles belongs to the coating technology. It adds pre-plating and electroplating process steps on the basis of the conventional titanium plating process. The pre-plating process is to place the activated plated parts in an aqueous solution of salt and hydrochloric acid for chemical treatment to produce a colorful effect.
Wood grain transfer: Vacuum wood grain lamination technology is to transfer the wood grain to the surface of the workpiece by thermal transfer after the electrostatic spraying of the metal product is completed. It is not easy to fade, the wood grain is realistic, and the product grade is improved.
Note: Since aluminum is all electrolytic aluminum, the surface treatment method is basically the same as the previous one, which is similar. However, it should be noted that the molding methods of these three processes result in different surface effects of the primary products obtained, and the selected surface treatment effects are also different. Then the most suitable surface treatment for aluminum alloy after die-casting is electrophoretic spray painting and powder spray painting or spraying (what we often call baking paint), and the surface defect rate will be much lower. If you need to know more, you can go to dig graves, check historical records, and find "Understanding of Aluminum II, Profiles" to introduce the surface treatment process in detail.
