First of all, let's briefly talk about the difference between oil temperature controller and water temperature controller. The water temperature machine uses water as the heat transfer medium, which can be used directly after softening. It is environmentally friendly and clean, and heat transfer is fast. Generally, direct heating and direct cooling are used, with three temperatures of 120°C, 150°C and 180°C. The oil temperature machine uses industrial heat transfer oil that can be heated to a high temperature of 400 ℃ and is not easy to decompose as the heat medium. It has a wide temperature control range, good thermal stability, and good heat preservation. It adopts direct heating and indirect cooling methods. Four temperatures: ℃, 300℃, 350℃ and 400℃.


The working principle of the oil temperature machine and the water temperature machine are basically the same. Both heat the heat transfer medium (heat transfer oil or water) electrically, and force the circulation in the closed pipeline under the action of the pump, transfer heat energy through heat exchange, and can automatically adjust the temperature , To achieve the purpose of accurate temperature control.


Seeing this, many friends may think that, in this case, the oil temperature machine can be used instead of the water temperature machine. Indeed, in some cases where there is no requirement for the use of heat medium, the oil temperature machine can be used instead of the water temperature machine, and the 200℃ oil temperature machine can replace the 180℃ water temperature machine, providing a stable temperature ≤180℃ for the main equipment. But in practical applications, we have to consider some issues:


1. Equipment installation environment requirements. For example, in dust-free production workshops such as film and food drying, the equipment use environment is kept clean. The water temperature machine is obviously more in line with actual needs, and the working process will not cause pollution. The oil temperature machine is difficult to avoid oil smoke and stains.


2. The actual temperature requirements of the equipment. For some injection molding processes, only a temperature control of about 120°C is required. Using a 200°C oil temperature machine to provide a temperature control of 120°C for the equipment is a bit overkill, and it is not necessary to cook chicken.


3. Equipment price. The price of the water temperature machine is generally much cheaper than that of the oil temperature machine. The power of the water pump and booster pump used is smaller, and the heater power is also lower, and the price is relatively low. The oil pump of the oil temperature machine is a high temperature resistant type, and an additional plate heat exchanger is used, which is costly. Using an oil temperature machine instead of a water temperature machine in this way will cost a lot of money and is unnecessary expenditure.


4. Long-term use cost. The water temperature machine uses water as the heat medium and can be directly used without any cost. Daily maintenance only needs to remove scale and impurities to clean the pipeline. The heat transfer oil used in the oil temperature machine needs to be replaced regularly. Every time it is replaced, the pipe should be removed from carbon deposits. The process takes a long time and the operation is more complicated. When using new oil, the oil needs to be boiled and dehydrated. More troublesome. Long-term use, the oil temperature machine costs a lot more than the water temperature machine.
