Common faults and treatment methods of die casting machines

We will encounter various problems during the die-casting operation. In this editor, we will sort out some common faults in die-casting machines and the corresponding treatment methods. Let’s take the cold-chamber die-casting machine as an example:

1. There is no response to the input operation signal

Exclude from the following reasons:

1. The signal input line is not tightly pressed;

2. The fuse of the computer board is burned out

3. The computer motherboard is burned out

4. The input and output interface board is broken

Corresponding methods for handling failures:

1. Tighten the input signal line plug

2. Replace with a new fuse

3. Replace the computer motherboard

4. Replace the input and output interface board

2. The oil pump cannot be started

First press the start button of the oil pump and observe whether the motor relay is closed.

If the relay is not closed, check:

1. Whether the motor thermal relay is activated or damaged;

2. Whether the power circuit is normal (check with a multimeter);

3. Whether the start and stop button contacts are normal, whether the control circuit is open, and whether the emergency stop button is reset.

4. Whether the relay coil is damaged (check with a multimeter);

5. PLC controls whether there is output at the start output point (KA2) of the oil pump.

If the relay is closed after the oil pump is started, check:

1. Whether the oil pump is worn or damaged;

2. Whether the circuit from the relay to the motor is normal;

3. Whether the oil pump is damaged or the assembly is too tight. It should be easy to move the coupling by hand, and it is appropriate to have a clearance of about 3~5mm for the axial movement of the coupling.

4. Whether the motor is stuck due to bearing and other reasons.

Three, no total pressure

After the hydraulic pump is started, press the pressure button and observe whether the pressure proportional valve ammeter has an indication value to determine whether the pressure proportional valve solenoid coil has current or not, and distinguish whether it is electrical or hydraulic failure.

1. If there is current output, check:

①Whether the hydraulic pump is reversed (facing the direction of the hydraulic pump shaft, clockwise rotation is forward)

②Check whether the overflow valve is improperly adjusted or stuck.

③Check whether the shut-off valve is closed.

④Whether the injection first-speed and second-speed cartridge valves are in the open state, and whether the hydraulic valve that controls the pressurization is normal.

⑤Whether the pressure gauge is damaged, indicating an error.

2. If there is no current output, check:

①Whether the rectifier power supply is normal, and whether the pressure proportional amplifier board is adjusted improperly or damaged. .

②Observe whether the computer is working normally, press the depressor button with your hand to see if there is input at the corresponding point BO on the computer, and whether there is output at the total pressure point FO. If there is no input, check whether the line between the depressor button and the computer is normal. If the total pressure point is input and there is no output, the computer malfunctions.

③Check whether the circuit between the output of the electric proportional board and the oil valve is normal, and whether the electric proportional coil is normal.

④Check whether the pressure switch is normal.

Four, can't adjust the model

Select the mode of mold adjustment for operation, the machine cannot realize the mold adjustment movement, check from the following points:

1. Whether the conditions of mold adjustment movement are met. Such as mold thickness adjustment requirements: mold thickness button E6 input, mold thickness button E7 no input, mold adjustment selection B9 input, mold thickness limit E10 input.

2. Whether the mold adjustment pressure value is set too low.

3. Whether the manual operation method is correct.

4. If there is no problem with the above contents, check the following contents: ① Whether the mold adjusting hydraulic motor is stuck or damaged. ②Whether the spool of the mold adjusting hydraulic valve is stuck. ③Whether the transmission pairs of the mold adjusting mechanism are worn or jammed.

Five, no mode locking

Inspection and analysis: close the safety door, press the mold lock button (if there is a mold, select a slow speed to avoid damage to the mold), observe whether the mold lock indicator on the electrical box panel is on or the main computer has a mold lock signal output . To

1. If there is no signal output, check:

①Check whether the computer input is correct. Two-handed mold clamping buttons A2, E15 input, mold opening button A3 has no input, thimble return to position B7 input, core pulling 1 and core pulling 2 move into position before clamping, and move back to position after clamping, hammer return is terminated, and clamping is terminated No input. If there is no signal input, check the external wiring. To

②If the mode locking conditions are all met but there is no mode locking output, the computer is damaged. To

2. If the computer has a signal output, check:

①Whether the clamping pressure is normal, press the clamping button to observe the pressure value on the pressure gauge). To

②Whether the fourteen-way amplifier board is normal (the input and output lights are on at the same time when working). To

③Whether the normal and slow speed valve is adjusted properly or damaged, and whether the mold opening and clamping valve is not adjusted properly or damaged. To

④Check whether the circuit connection between the electric box mold locking output and the oil valve is normal, whether the solenoid valve coil is normal, and the mold locking circuit is normal.

⑤Whether the clamping hydraulic cylinder is damaged.
