On October 26, the 75th World Foundry Conference, hosted by the World Foundry Organization and organized by the Foundry Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, opened in Deyang. More than 1,500 outstanding experts, senior scholars and industry elites in the foundry field from more than 30 countries around the world gathered together to share experiences and plan for the future.
This conference is the third time to be held in China after 14 years, following the 61st (Beijing, 1995) and the 69th (Hangzhou, 2010). The theme is "Developing Foundry Industry", focusing on three major areas: foundry science and technology, foundry engineering applications, and foundry talent training. It will organize 9 high-level conference reports and 18 wonderful sub-forums, and 238 outstanding industry workers from 26 countries will share and exchange experiences and achievements. Discuss the development trend of the foundry industry, exchange hot issues, and share research results and advanced technologies, so as to promote the continuous breakthroughs and progress of scientific and technological research and application in the world foundry industry and drive the vigorous development of the industry.
This session will last until October 30. During this period, the 2024 International Foundry Exhibition will be held with an exhibition area of 8,000 square meters, bringing together more than 120 well-known Chinese and foreign companies to jointly display innovative technologies and products in the global foundry field.
The successful holding of the 75th World Foundry Conference has brought international vision and advanced experience to China's foundry industry and has also built an important platform for cooperation and development of the global foundry industry. In the next step, China will continue to give play to its advantages in the fields of foundry and equipment manufacturing, promote industrial upgrading and technological innovation, and contribute Chinese wisdom and strength to the progress of the global foundry industry.
