Hosted by the World Foundry Organization (WFO), the 75th World Foundry Conference officially takes place in Deyang, Sichuan, from October 25 to 30, 2024. Centered on the theme “the developing foundry industry”, the influential global event gathers experts, scholars and manufacturing entrepreneurs to share cutting-edge technologies and discuss future trends of the foundry and die casting industry, greatly driving the upgrading of global die casting machine and intelligent die casting equipment.
This marks the third time that the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMES) has hosted the prestigious conference, following successful sessions in Beijing (1995) and Hangzhou (2010). As a core neutral global organization, WFO boasts official members from 30 countries, covering 90% of global casting output, serving as the authoritative weathervane for the worldwide foundry manufacturing sector. It commits to building a global platform for exchanging advanced casting materials, craftsmanship and innovative equipment.
FICMES has been China’s sole official WFO representative since 1978. For decades, it has actively promoted international academic exchanges and technical cooperation, elevating China’s status in the global foundry industry. The conference focuses on technological innovation and industrial iteration, bringing new development opportunities for manufacturers of high-precision die casting machinery and automated casting production solutions.
The grand event accelerates the integration of Chinese foundry enterprises into the global market.
