Bengbu Longhua's Former Names: Bengbu Machinery Factory / Anhui Water Conservancy Machinery Factory (One of Anhui's "Five Major Machinery Factories")!

Longhua was established on July 1, 1950, initially named the Machinery Brigade of the Huai River Control Commission.

Its predecessor was the office site of the Nationalist Government's Huai River Conservancy Commission before liberation. In 1949, the site consisted only of a few dilapidated old workshops and a two-story office building. Later, the Maintenance Brigade of the National Huai River Control Commission was stationed there, then known as the Machinery Brigade of the Huai River Control Commission.

On June 2, 1953, it was renamed: Machinery Repair Factory of the Huai River Control Commission.

On January 10, 1958, it was officially renamed: Bengbu Machinery Factory (Anhui Water Conservancy Machinery Factory) / State-Owned.

On April 30, 1958, Premier Zhou Enlai listened to a report from Bengbu Machinery Factory (Anhui Water Conservancy Machinery Factory) / State-Owned:The factory successfully passed the inspection by the National Ministry of Machinery for large-scale components such as "Gate Hoists" and "5-Meter Vertical Drilling Machines" produced for Vietnam. The project has successfully passed the acceptance inspection, and Premier Zhou Enlai praised the factory's workers in the "Bengbu Daily", saying: "From one victory to another!"

On May 18, 1972, it was officially renamed Bengbu Water Pump Factory / State-Owned, mainly producing various water pumps and oil drums. Among them, the 2.8-meter axial-flow pump was applied to water conservancy projects on the Yangtze River.

On July 17, 1982, it was officially renamed Bengbu Longhua Machinery Factory / State-Owned.

On November 25, 2000, Bengbu Longhua Machinery Factory entered bankruptcy liquidation.

On March 13, 2002, Bengbu Longhua Machinery Factory was officially declared bankrupt and shut down.

On June 18, 2002, Zhou Wenping, a laid-off worker, led a group of former Longhua technicians to start their own business. They rented a 200-square-meter agricultural equipment warehouse in Daihu Village, Yanshan Township, Zhongshi District, Bengbu, beginning as a small workshop—repairing die-casting machines and producing die-casting machine components.

On December 10, 2005, Anhui Provincial Governor Wang Jinshan visited Bengbu Longhua Die-Casting Machine Factory ("Small Longhua"):
Governor Wang Jinshan (accompanied by Bengbu Party Secretary Fang Ping, Acting Mayor Chen Qitao, and Longzihu District Chief Gao Ping) met with re-employed workers from the former Bengbu Longhua Machinery Factory. He praised Zhou Wenping for leading laid-off workers in entrepreneurship, stating: "Employment is the foundation of people's livelihoods, and development is the source of employment." He encouraged them to continue their entrepreneurial efforts.

On March 20, 2006, the Bengbu Daily featured an exclusive interview with Zhou Wenping, highlighting his story of leading former Longhua workers to establish Bengbu Longhua Die-Casting Machine Factory ("Small Longhua").

From 2003 to 2007, Zhou Wenping legally protected the original "Longhua" trademark and brand intellectual property.

On September 26, 2014, Bengbu Longhua Die-Casting Machine Factory (individual business) was officially upgraded to Bengbu Longhua Die-Casting Machine Co., Ltd. (private enterprise).

In May 2014, responding to the national call for "industry-university-research collaboration," Bengbu Longhua proactively partnered with Anhui Science and Technology University to jointly develop:Pure Aluminum Vacuum Energy-Saving Horizontal Cold Chamber Die-Casting Machine Magnesium Alloy Energy-Efficient Horizontal Cold Chamber Die-Casting. Machine,By December 11, 2017, these projects successfully achieved technological breakthroughs and were recognized as "High-Tech New Product Certifications."

November 7, 2017 – Longhua Enterprise successfully obtained national High-Tech Enterprise certification.

June 26, 2019 – Longhua Enterprise was listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of the Anhui Equity Exchange Center (Cultivation Tier).

On November 24, 2019, Longhua Enterprise signed an industry-university-research project with the Hefei Institute of Material Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to jointly develop the "High-speed and High-precision AI Die-casting Machine" and "Die-casting Robot" projects. The scientific and technological achievements were successfully implemented on February 23, 2023, and respectively won one Anhui Province New Product Certificate, one Anhui Province First Set of Major Technical Equipment Certificate (the certificates are published on the official website of the Hefei Institute of Material Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Science News Network), and other honorary certificates.

May 16, 2023 – Bengbu Longhua signed a provincial peak discipline cultivation project with Bengbu University – the 1250T High-Speed, High-Precision AI Die-Casting Machine R&D Project, which successfully achieved technological results on the same day.

May 2023 – The company was recognized as a Vice President Unit of the Anhui Import & Export Chamber of Commerce.

June 2024 – The company was certified as an Anhui Innovative SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprise).

July 30, 2024 – Through industry-university-research collaboration with the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Bengbu University, Bengbu Longhua successfully achieved another technological milestone, earning:1 Group Standard for AI Cold Chamber Die-Casting Machines.

August 2024 – The company obtained "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative" (SRDI) SME certification.

March 5, 2025 –The Bengbu International Chamber of Commerce was officially established, with Longhua honored as Vice President Unit.

April 22, 2025–Sang Yanhui, Secretary of Bengshan District Party Committee, led a delegation to conduct research at Bengbu Longhua Die-Casting Machine Co., Ltd. 

May 16, 2025–Collaborative Achievement: The "Provincial Peak Discipline Co-Construction Project" between Bengbu Longhua and Bengbu University – featuring the LH1250T high-speed, high-precision AI fully automatic die-casting machine – successfully achieved technological results transformation and was implemented at Bengbu Longhua.Distinguished Presence: District Mayor Zhang Shenghui attended and delivered remarks.

Since 2014, the company has deepened its industry-university-research collaborative innovation mechanism, establishing strategic partnerships with leading research institutions including Anhui Science and Technology University, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science under Chinese Academy of Sciences, Bengbu University, and Anhui Vocational College of Grain Engineering.
