The 134th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) opened in Guangzhou today. It will be held in three phases from October 15 to November 4, and the online platform will be operated on a regular basis.

The spokesperson of the Canton Fair and the deputy director of the China Foreign Trade Center introduced that the scale of this Canton Fair has reached a new high, with the total exhibition area expanded to 1.55 million square meters, an increase of 50,000 square meters compared with the previous session. The total number of booths is 74,000, an increase of nearly 4,600 compared to the previous session. According to non-duplicate statistics for each period and each exhibition area, there are 28,533 exhibitors, an increase of 3,135 compared with the previous session. Among them, 27,883 companies participated in the export exhibition and 650 companies participated in the import fair.
